Create Jobs, Assessments, and Release¶
Hiring managers use jobs to group candidates and assessments. Assessments define the work candidates complete inside TalentPulsar.
Create a Job¶
- Sign in as a hiring manager.
- From the dashboard or jobs area, choose Create a new job.
- Enter:
- Job title
- Job description
- Decide whether to enable:
- Make the job publicly accessible: creates a shareable job link.
- Allow others to import assessments: lets users import when public access is enabled.
- Save the job.

Configure Job Visibility¶

- Use Copy Job ID when public access is disabled and candidates should request access by ID.
- Keep public access disabled for private hiring workflows.
Create an Assessment¶
- Open the job.
- Go to the Assessment tab.
- Select Create Assessment.
- Complete the setup steps:
- Basic Details: assessment name, start date, due date, and optional duration.
- Hardware: resource type, disk storage, and package/container-save options when available.
- Timeout: hiring-team and candidate inactivity timeout values.
- If proctoring is required, enable proctoring and choose the required proctoring level.
- Save the assessment.
