Hiring Manager API Keys and AI Assistant

Hiring managers can configure provider API keys so TalentPulsar AI Assistant features can generate or review content.

Open API Key Settings

1. Sign in as a hiring manager.
2. Open your profile or account settings.
3. Select Set API Keys.
4. If no keys are configured, select Edit.

Add an OpenRouter Key

1. In Set API Keys, enter an OpenRouter API Key.
2. Review OpenRouter privacy settings from the link shown in the modal.
3. Select Save Changes.
4. Confirm the success message.

Add an Optional Mistral Key

TalentPulsar can use Mistral for content generation that involves PDFs. By default, PDFs may use the platform-level Mistral integration.

1. Enable Use my own Mistral API key if you want PDF-related generation to use your own key.
2. Enter the Mistral API Key.
3. Select Save Changes.

Review Existing Keys

Configured keys are shown in obfuscated form. Select Edit when you need to replace or rotate a key.

Use AI Assistant

1. Open a supported workflow such as job setup, assessment authoring, or assessment review.
2. Open the AI Assistant panel or action in that workflow.
3. Enter a prompt with enough context for the assistant to respond usefully.
4. Review generated content before applying it.
5. Save the final job or assessment changes.

Security Notes

• Do not paste provider keys into job descriptions, assessment instructions, candidate-facing notebooks, or screenshots.
• Rotate keys if they are exposed or if provider access changes.
• If AI Assistant actions fail, verify that the provider key is active and has enough quota/permissions.
