Invite Candidates and Handle Access Requests

TalentPulsar supports both direct invitations and candidate-initiated access requests.

Invite Candidates by Email

  1. Open the job as a hiring manager.
  2. Go to the Pending invites tab.
  3. Select Invite Candidate.
  4. Use the Email tab for one or more candidate emails.
  5. Separate multiple emails with commas, spaces, semicolons, or new lines.
  6. Submit the invite and verify the success message.

Invite Candidates by CSV

  1. Open Invite Candidate.
  2. Switch to the bulk/CSV tab.
  3. Upload a .csv file.
  4. Put candidate email addresses in the first column. A header row named email is allowed.
  5. Submit the upload and verify the invite count.

  1. Open the job.
  2. Go to the Candidates tab.
  3. Select Copy Job Link when the job is publicly accessible.
  4. Select Copy Job ID when the job is private and candidates should request access by ID.

Candidate Requests Access

  1. Candidate signs in and opens the shared job link or imports with the job ID.
  2. If the job is public and accepts join requests, the candidate selects Apply for Job.
  3. TalentPulsar marks the request as pending.
  4. The candidate sees the requested state until a hiring manager accepts them.

Review Pending Requests

  1. Hiring manager opens the job.
  2. Review Pending invites and candidate status values.
  3. Accept individual candidates or selected candidates.
  4. Remove stale or incorrect candidates from the candidates list if needed.

Access Management Tips

  • Approve only candidates whose identity matches the expected email address.
  • Use CSV upload for high-volume invites, then verify the pending invite count.
  • Revoke or delete incorrect candidate records before assessment activity begins.
